Scrivener is my favorite way to write anything. Whether it’s a work of fiction or a book of affirmations, Scrivener’s structure and style are the most conducive tools I’ve found for getting ideas down.
One element of this word processing program that I particularly enjoy is the full screen mode function. It may seem like a small detail, but it helps you focus on your writing by removing all other distractions on your desktop.
The best part of this tool is that you can choose to have a background image surround your writing space to set the tone of whatever it is you are writing.
So, how do you enter full screen mode? Simply go to View -> Enter Full Screen. To change the backdrop of your full screen mode, go to: view -> Full Screen Backdrop -> Choose. From there, it will prompt you to select an image from your computer to use as your backdrop when writing in full screen.
